The full form of B.Ed. is a Bachelor of Education. B.Ed. course is an undergraduate professional degree that prepares students to work as teachers in schools. The B.Ed. course duration is 2 years where it is necessary for teaching at the secondary (classes 6 to 10) and higher secondary (classes 11 and 12) divisions.

Minimum Qualification for B.Ed. Admission:
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) and /or Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity/Commerce or Bachelor’s in Engineering/ Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission test to the B.Ed. programme.
The reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks for SC/ST/BC/EBC/WBC/Differently abled and other categories shall be as per the rules of Government of Bihar.
For B.Ed. admissions, there is minimum 19 years of age for offering admission to this course. But no maximum age are assign.
